"If she ever wanted to run for president, I think she'd be very, very hard to beat", Trump added.

Ivana was referring to President Trump's mistress-turned-second-wife Marla Maples.

Trump told The Atlantic's Elaina Plott for a profile of his daughter published Friday that Ivanka is "a natural diplomat", and the main reason he didn't nominate her to replace Nikki Haley as USA ambassador to the United Nations because people would accuse him of engaging in nepotism. "I forgot you guys were meeting-I was just coming by!" she said.

To that end, though, a source "close to Ivanka" also told The Atlantic that the two share a "desire to be mutually respectful", but added that their relationship is certainly not "affectionate".

Stephanie Grisham, a spokeswoman for Ivanka, said both have "always shared a close relationship and still do today".

The president continued to explain that he believes his daughter also has the qualifications to lead the World Bank, a financial institution tasked with providing billions of dollars in loans to worldwide development projects annually.

Ivana Trump has reportedly said that her daughter, Ivanka, has a "fine" relationship with her stepmother, Melania. "She would've been great at the United Nations, as an example", Mr Trump said.

Haruhiko Kuroda, head of the Bank of Japan, told reporters on Friday that the G-20 officials saw the IMF's revised forecast as "highly likely" but said all the countries would need to do their part to boost growth.

And now, Ivana detailed this statement, saying that Ivanka 'likes her fine because she didn't cause me to break up the marriage like the other one - I don't even want to pronounce her name'. Ivanka Trump was delighted with her new place in the West Wing and cast herself as a champion for women, children, families and the American workforce.

Ivanka is a senior political adviser to her father.
