Another ROYAL FIRST! Inside Meghan Markle's water birth

Prince Harry and Duchess Meghanannounced through Buckingham Palace that they meant to keep information about Baby Sussex's birth, including where the baby will be born, private.

Earlier this week, Meghan, 37, and Harry, 34, announced their intention to keep the birth of their first child private.

It's also worth remembering Harry has expressed his frustration towards the press on many occasions - including their attitudes towards Meghan's racial background.

Since the royal wedding last May, Meghan has been dogged by gossip about a feud with her sister-in-law, Kate, not to mention the media antics of her estranged father and half-sister. Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are breaking royal rules with their baby's birth.

It's a historic image that will instantly be beamed around the world; the first picture of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and their newborn baby.

"The Duke and Duchess look forward to sharing the exciting news with everyone once they have had an opportunity to celebrate privately as a new family", the statement concluded.

"Their Royal Highnesses have taken a personal decision to keep the plans around the arrival of their baby private", the statement said. Meghan has been the targets of scores of reports which mentioned her diva-like behaviour around those who work for Kensington Palace. As there's no expectation for the child to have a full-time royal role, he or she is instead expected to carve out their own career.

She plans to release the first half at the end of April, the same time that Meghan is due her first child.

A royal source told the Mail on Sunday: "Meghan said she doesn't want the men in suits".

It is understood they will still pose for a photograph at some stage following the birth, but this will not be a large-scale media moment as we've seen before.

CNN's royal commentator Victoria Arbiter tweeted: "There is obviously massive global interest in the Sussex Family but this baby will be 7th in line and unlikely to be an HRH".

In terms of timing, Wills and Kate shared an official portrait of their third child, little Prince Louis, on their official Instagram on May 6 - just 13 days after his birth.
