The federal judge Alison Nathan told Mr Musk: "Take a breath".

But the good news for potential Tesla owners is that they still have a few weeks to buy a Tesla with Full Self-Driving option at the old price, and have the new hardware installed when it becomes available.

The SEC states Musk violated the settlement when he tweeted without the approval of a lawyer about Tesla's automobile production in February. Last August, that conversation, delivered the stock of the company on a ride. The agency contends that Musk hasn't sought the lawyer's approval for a single tweet.

Much of the discussion Thursday centered around if the SEC rules provide a means that was very clear to to find out whether or not the information he's going to tweet would be material to investors and, therefore, need preapproval.

A former tweet regarding a strategy to take the business private led with the SEC to the first round of problems.

The order comes after Nathan urged both sides to agree at a hearing on Thursday in NY that Musk attended.

"Hueston said further restricting Musk's capacity to convey about his organization and imposing penalties would" freeze his talent" to function as a successful entrepreneur. Last year, when he called a priest that helped rescue 12 boys on a Thai football team from a muddy cave Musk berated stock market analysts for asking questions regarding the financing of Tesla and motivated a defamation lawsuit a pedophile. "He said that his client" really does what he is told". The stock is down 21 percent this year.

Meanwhile, the Tesla's stocks are decreasing nearly 10% in early trading after the company stated it churns out 77,100 vehicles well behind the speed it must sustain to fulfill the pledge to fabricate 500,000 cars of Musk.

Tesla is also upgrading the FSD computer in all of its cars soon, and will even retrofit cars that have FSD with the new computer should the owner requests it. Electrek notes, however, that it's unclear if all cars are getting the new computer or not. Tesla agreed to pay a $20 million fine and Mr Musk stepped down as Tesla Chairman for at least three years.
