Sam Snead won the first green jacket and Augusta National ended up awarding one to all the past winners as well.

A number of golf fans were thrilled that Woods completed his comeback by winning one of golf's major tournaments.

He drifted out of contention with another double bogey at the par-5 15 hole to finish tied for fifth place, two shots behind champion Tiger Woods.

Sunday's thrilling victory puts the former world No.1 just three majors behind the all-time record of Jack Nicklaus.

"I've never had an ace, ever, unfortunately", DeChambeau said.

Green Bay Packers tight end Jimmy Graham is using the Masters as motivation for the upcoming season.

It was a great day for Tiger Woods and the golfing world... Woods' name was removed from the game after the 2014 edition. He won the U.S. Open in 2017 as well.

A who's who of sporting royalty were quick to hail Woods' sixth victory at the iconic Augusta course. "I could barely walk".

"It was probably a 9-iron yardage but I didn't want the wind to gust and to get the ball too much and I just didn't hit it hard enough", Molinari explained.

"I feel good and I like my chances tomorrow".

Woods was paired with Molinari in the final grouping of last year's British Open, which Molinari won. "I was really hoping it would go in".

At Carnoustie it was Woods who stumbled on the back nine while leading. Augusta National's signature hole at the heart of Amen Corner had the leaderboard spinning with Koepka, Tony Finau and Ian Poulter all ending up in the murky waters of Rae's Creek.
