According to Las Vegas Now, 25-year-old Cadesha Bishop was arrested for pushing the man as he was attempting to get off the bus following a verbal argument.

Fournier spent a month in the hospital before he succumbed to his injuries, KSNV reports.

Witnesses claim Mr Fournier had told Bishop to "be nicer to passengers".

Bishop was transported to the Clark County Detention Center where she will be charged for murder.

As Fournier used his walker to exit at 13th and Fremont streets, police say Bishop pushed Fournier forcefully with two hands.

Serge Fournier was reportedly telling a fellow passenger on the bus to be politer to others when he was pushed by a woman, landing head first on the pavement.

Police say after the push, Bishop did not offer any help as she walked away with her son.

A judge ordered Bishop, 25, held on $100,000 bail pending a preliminary hearing of evidence May 21.

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department released footage of the altercation on Tuesday in an appeal for more witnesses to come forward.

The elderly man picks up his walker as he tries to step off a bus in Las Vegas.

It's alleged she was argumentative with people on the bus and as the man stepped off she and him were involved in a dispute.

Trevor Taylor, a neighbour to Mr Fournier, said: "No matter what his age, she should not have done that".

Fournier leaves behind a disabled wife.
