Luka Doncic, Trae Young top 2018-19 NBA All-Rookie first team

Bagley, the No. 2 pick in last year's NBA Draft, averaged 14.9 points, 7.6 rebounds and 1.0 blocked shots in 25.3 minutes per game.

Trier averaged 10.9 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 64 games, shooting 39.4 percent from 3-point range.

Luka Doncic, the favorite to win the rookie of the year award was unanimously voted to the 2018-19 NBA All-Rookie First Team.

The first five picks of the 2018 draft proved predictive regarding the 2019 All-Rookie first team, announced by the National Basketball Association on Tuesday. Young dropped 19.1 points and 8.1 assists per game as a rookie.

Former University of Oklahoma star and current Atlanta Hawks player Trae Young was also a unanimous first-team selection.

Huerter's teammate, point guard Trae Young, was one of two rookies to be unanimous first-team selections, along with Luka Doncic of the Dallas Mavericks.


Joining the pair who were effectively traded for one another on the night of the 2018 NBA Draft are the three players picked around them: Phoenix Suns center Deandre Ayton, Sacramento Kings forward Marvin Bagley, and Memphis Grizzlies big man Jaren Jackson Jr.

Doncic, 20, was a five-time Western Conference Rookie of the Month.

The honor marks the tenth time in team history that a Mavericks player has been named to an All-Rookie Team.

Two of the brightest young stars on the Atlanta Hawks were awarded with All-Rookie Team honors on Tuesday by the National Basketball Association. The victor will be revealed June 24 at the 2019 NBA Awards in Los Angeles.

The All-Rookie Second Team featured Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Landry Shamet of the LA Clippers with Collin Sexton of the Cleveland Cavaliers, Mitchell Robinson of the New York Knicks and the Atlanta Hawks' own beloved Red Pepper (aka Kevin Huerter). The third annual NBA Awards, honoring this season's top performers, will take place at Barker Hangar in Los Angeles.
