Manchester City and Liverpool look set to go head-to-head for the 2019-20 Premier League title once again after last season's titanic tussle.

Due to policing and logistical reasons, the two East Anglian rivals are paired in the fixture process and are never scheduled to play home games on the same day.

One fan is also irate at the BBC who announced the new Premier League fixture list with a picture of Virgil van Dijk hoisting the Champions League trophy in Madrid rather than Vincent Kompany lifting the Premier League trophy at a half empty Etihad.

This will be our first home fixture on opening weekend since 2010/11.

Their May fixtures start with a trip to Arsenal before Chelsea come to Anfield, with Klopp's side wrapping up their campaign with a visit to Newcastle United.

Here are five games from August to May to look out for - and put in your diaries right now.

For the first time in Premier League history, the clubs will get a short mid-season break in February. The Reds won both league matches 2-1 last season and have 10 wins and only one defeat in their last 15 meetings in all competitions.

And they meet for the first time on November 9th at Anfield before the return fixture at the Etihad on April 4th in what could be a crucial match in the Premier League title race.

As the visitors begin the first season of the post-Hazard era, Blues supporters will be hoping new signing Christian Pulisic will begin to show the potential to fill the Belgian's huge boots at Old Trafford.

This term sees City away to Wolves on Boxing Day, with Nuno Espirito Santo's side having thrived in games against the "Big Six" last term, before hosting newly promoted Sheffield United and Everton in their other Christmas clashes.

Klopp's men will then have back-to-back outings against Tottenham and Manchester United in January, while Chelsea welcome Arsenal to Stamford Bridge.

While Liverpool face a tough final few weeks of the season, champions Manchester City have what appears to be a more comfortable final month, as they play Southampton, Newcastle, Brighton, Bournemouth, Watford and Norwich.
