In fact, it's one of a variety of games and updates releasing during E3 week.

The Witcher 3: Complete Edition will be available on Switch later this year. Tongue-in-cheek action game No More Heroes 3, from Tokyo's Grasshopper Manufacture, was also announced for 2020.

The Legend of Zelda made three appearances, first in the form of a remake.

Though it's a miracle that The Witcher 3 is coming to the Nintendo Switch at all, let alone coming with all of its expansions and fixings beyond the main game, it's coming with a few serious caveats. Nintendo sold almost 13 million copies of the game worldwide, making it the fourth best-selling Switch game, just behind "Mario Kart 8 Deluxe", "Super Smash Bros".

The sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is now in development for Nintendo Switch!

As such, we've previously posited that the game may not come to the event and as a result, we may even see the title delayed past its previously announced 2019 release date. Its length didn't matter though as the trailer confirmed that a sequel to "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" was in the works and fans were overjoyed. Nintendo's key releases for the end of 2019, Pokémon Sun and Shield, out on 15 September, had already been shown off previous to this week's E3 conference, but are playable by attendees on the show floor.
