The £70million-valued star is in demand this summer with both Manchester clubs and Liverpool interested.

Sporting Lisbon are looking to make around £60million from the sale of the 24-year-old, while Manchester United are rumoured to be willing to pay closer to £53m for the playmaker.

Bruno Fernandes scored 20 goals and also added 13 assists for his Portuguese club in 33 league games during the last campaign. And, following such a spellbinding campaign, it is hardly surprising that the player is attracting interest from some of the biggest clubs in England, specifically Manchester United, who have reportedly been in talks with his entourage.

However, the Daily Star are citing a report from Portuguese newspaper Correio da Manha [above] that claims Fernandes has his heart set on joining Man Utd and is relaxed about the move as he feels a deal will eventually be agreed.

With Manchester United's squad went away for the pre-season tour, the hierarchy at Manchester United will directly have to give a debut to Fernandes during the season, if the player joins the English giants.

Manchester United have already completed deals to sign Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Daniel James, but they are still being linked with a number of other names.

No move appears to be imminent, though, at a time when United are still contemplating whether to sell Paul Pogba to either Real Madrid or Juventus.

That's according to Kevin Kilbane, who believes City and Real have been linked with much higher calibre players in this summer's transfer window.

And there are suggestions that Fernandes' agent has an agreement in place with Manchester United over his contractual terms. "You have to accept [that they've got to do it that way now]".
