Rumors have pointed out that the Mi CC9 and CC9e may launch as rebranded Mi A3 and A3 Lite outside China. Along with the Mi A3, the company is also going to introduce Mi A3 Lite, a lighter version of the phone.

Twitter tipster Roland Quandt and folks at WinFuture have shared images of what will be Xiaomi's Mi A3 Android One phone.

Reports about the Mi A3 smartphone have been making rounds since past few months but now, the company has officially teased the arrival of the Mi A3 as well as Mi A3 Lite smartphones. We still don't know whether Mi A3 Lite will launch in India or not, but definitely Mi A3 is coming to the country at a price very similar to Redmi Note 7 Pro and upcoming Redmi K20, or between them.

The world's best selling Android One series is about to enter its third generation and, ahead of the official announcement, press renders of the standard Xiaomi Mi A3 have appeared online alongside a pretty detailed spec sheet.

This is where things become confusing. According to a new report by Ishan Agarwal, the former is codenamed as bamboo_sprout and will be powered by a Snapdragon 730 processor.

Even the rear also retains a triple-camera setup which is likely to be a 48MP f/1.79 main shooter, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 2MP camera for depth effects. These boast a 3D glass back design with gradient finish, 48-megapixel primary camera and in-display fingerprint sensor.

The Snapdragon 665 inside the Mi A3 will reportedly be paired with 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. The phone will reportedly come with two Nano SIM slots and a microSD card slot for storage expansion. Both the budget devices offer AMOLED display, 4,000mAh battery, and more. Last week, a Xiaomi phone listed on FCC was speculated as the Xiaomi Mi A3. The phone will come in three colour options, but there is no word on its pricing yet.
