Twittervision is a nifty little app. I’ve been playing with this for a week now and it’s quite addictive

Its core feature is a simple one - see random tweets from across the globe in real time. It’s like a visual tweet discovery tool. However don’t dump your twitter tool for this. It doesn’t allow any posting or replying. It’s just a discovery tool. It’s nice to see tweet trends using this. You get the pulse of who’s saying what… And where.

If you tap the world map, you get to see the tweets in a list view. Further tapping on a tweet shows you user data like name, google map position, twitter link and also an option to follow the user. While testing I couldn’t follow a person as the app kept crashing on this function. Otherwise it was quite stable and fast.

I like the smooth animation effect between tweets. Oh and if you see a tweet in a language you don’t follow, tap it twice to translate into English! Cool feature.
