While surfing the iPhone AppStore today, I stumbled upon Tunic Guitar. It is essentially a high precision custom guitar tuning app. The developer is Bernhard Stopper.

What hit me was the price… a whopping $64.99!! By the AppStore standards, that’s like a Ferrari in a used car showroom. The developer has even explained why the app is pricey… albeit after a flood of emails.

Is this the most expensive iPhone app so far? It’s definitely the most expensive one I’ve seen so far. Screen-shot from the store is attached below.
